Max Beck

Max began his career as a carpenter with a major Melbourne building group, Clements Langford, who built the landmark projects, Myer Emporium and the Spires on St Paul’s Cathedral. In 1976, Max established Becton, what was considered a respected and highly successful property development, construction and investment company that jump started his successes in the building and construction industries today.

Bernard Griffiths

Corporate Treasurer, Director — Beck Corporation

More than 35 years experience in the business management, financial management, taxation, group and project accounting and control, project and investment funding, project feasibility analysis and development, and asset management and control. Experience gained in manufacturing, chartered accounting, listed property investment, stock broking, property development, construction and private investment environments. Past employers include Coopers & Lybrand, and Becton.

Sam Beck

Managing Director — BECK Property Group, Director — Beck Corporation

From the age of two, Sam frequented building sites with his father where he played in piles of brick sand with his trucks. From these early days, the foundations were laid for a love of construction. Sure enough, he went on to work as an apprentice carpenter. Now with over twenty-five years experience in the industry, it’s this background that’s given him the reputation for being a ‘hands on’ developer.

Nick Beck

After many years of real estate marketing and development, Nick has turned his attention to farming. Nick is restoring one of Victoria’s premier properties, into a farming enterprise for high quality beef cattle breeding and the operation of an Australian best practice quarantine station for the optimum care and welfare of animals destined for offshore milk production, breeding and food production.

Ben Beck

Ben recently exited Australia’s largest independant embedded network utility management enterprises, Active Utilities was purchased by Prime Super in 2023. Ben now concentrates on the Beck Family Office and its related development opportunities, Beckdev a Development company he founded with Max, and his water infrastructure business Beck Water.

Lorraine Beck

Director — BECK Family Foundation

Max’s partner for almost 50 years, co-chair of the Beck Family Foundation, and provider of unrelenting support and guidance in all matters, business, social, family and health. Lorraine’s wise council in all family and philanthropic matters, is sought by both Max and the children.

Carla Dinage

Director — Beck Family Foundation

With a back ground in fine art, and ceramics, Carla divides her time between raising her four children, production of sought after home wares, and chairing the Beck Family Foundation which is now the focal point for the next stage of Philanthropic contributions to our community.
